What we keep

• Your email address, if you give one, and your browser's notification address, if you turn notifications on. Both are stored encrypted.
• The nights, huts and group size you watch, and the messages we sent.
• If you buy a trip alert: the payment status, amount and checkout reference from Polar. We never see your card.
• Our host keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to run and protect the site.

Why

To run the alerts you asked for (performance of a contract), and to prevent abuse (legitimate interest). We do not sell or share your data, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How long

Until 30 days after the last night you watch, or straight away when you delete your alert from its private page. Unconfirmed alerts are deleted after 14 days, unpaid trip alerts after 2 days.

Who processes it for us

Vercel (hosting and storage, Paris region), Resend (sending email), Polar (payments, as merchant of record).

In your browser

We set no cookies. Your browser's local storage keeps the private link to your alert and your finder settings, on your device only.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, by writing to support@ridgework.org. You can also complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr).
